Private Lessons

Mary teaches private lessons for voice, guitar, mountain dulcimer, hammered dulcimer, piano, and concertina (D/G).

She customizes the lessons to the needs of the students. Mary can cover traditional folk styles as well as standard classical training. She has over 40 years of experience, including over a decade of teaching music in the public schools and years of university teaching. Mary is a certified music educator in North Carolina.

Mary teaches ages 5 and up.

Group Lessons

Mary often teaches workshops, but is available to teach more intimate and casual lessons with groups.

Group lessons are limited to 10 people.
